Terms & Policies

Custom:  Any piece in gold or platinum II) Any piece, such as (but not exclusive to) an engagement ring, that is designed, modeled and cast by our Master Model-Maker.

Jewelry Line:  Any pre-cast piece in the BHD brass or silver line.

Custom -  I) Any pre-cast piece in gold or platinum is non-refundable as we do not carry stock inventory of such pieces  II). All projects begin with a non-refundable deposit of half- down.  

Jewelry Line - Pre-cast pieces in the brass or silver line are refundable or eligible for an even exchange for another piece of similar or equal value.

BHD reserves the right to use pictures from any custom piece in any stage of completion for social media promotion.  Customers may elect to not have their name or identifying information attached to social media posts.

BHD will correspond with the client with their preferred method of communication.  

Custom:  Custom-piece fulfillment times are subjective to the time and labor associated with each individual project.  BHD provides consistent and regular updates on the status of all orders.

Jewelry Line:  Pieces bought in our online shops such as ETSY and Amazon are shipped within X-XXX business days (subject to shipping and handling fees).  All pieces are insured up to $XXX, depending on the value of the piece.

Upon entering into an agreement with ByHisDesignCo the client agrees to the following terms and conditions:

I) After the initial consultation and agreement to move forward with a custom design order, the client agrees to put approximately 1/2 (one-half) the estimated amount down in a non-refundable deposit.  Upon final completion of the order, the second half will be due upon final delivery of the completed piece.

II) Deposit amounts are dependent on the estimated value of the completed project, which includes (but is not limited to): stones, metals, labor, drawing, cad cam and casting and other related expenses.  

III) Pieces requiring Cad cam can be redesigned during the modeling process up to five (5) times for free and then $60 for each additional redesign.  The redisgns must be requested while still in the modeling process but cannot be changed once the piece has been cast in metal. 

IV). Any adjustment to an existing piece is non-refundable (such as re-sizing, polishing, restorations, engravings, repairs etc).

BHD does not give, trade or sell personal information to any third parties of any kind.  BHD reserves the right to use pictures from any custom piece in any stage of completion for its own advertising and promotion.  Customers may elect to not have their name or identifying information attached to any advertisement.
